The season of love is upon us. I don’t typically go crazy buying anything new for Valentine’s Day (see more on that here), but I recently found this *amazing* vintage cashmere cardigan for an absolute steal at Goodwill and felt compelled to share.

Outfit Details: denim (my favorite jeans EVER) | the perfect basic tee | Birdies slippers | ride-or-die bee hoops
That thrift trip actually yielded a LOT of cute finds that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. If you’re planning to dress up, might I recommend shopping secondhand? In this instance, I can throw the cardigan over some solid basics that I already own and love and boom – easy, comfy (and inexpensive) outfit on deck. Here are a few things I’d recommend keeping your eyes peeled for if you’re planning to go thrifting this weekend:
Printed midi skirts – I always find so many of them
Pink/red cardigans – for a pop of color over your basics
Vintage slip dresses – just throw a boxy sweater over top
High-waist trousers – bonus points for a fun color or print
Feminine neck scarves – or a twilly!
What do y’all have planned for Valentine’s Day? Are you team dress up or nah? Any fun secondhand items in your closet that might be great for a low-key Galentine’s get-together or romantic dinner at home? Let me know in the comments – many thanks for being here. xo
Cheers,
E
