My Favorite Bag for a Weekend Getaway

We’re heading out of town a little later today, so I thought it only appropriate that I share one of my favorite travel bags of all time… which is currently by the door, packed and ready to go! The Lo & Son’s Catalina Deluxe has been my go-to for years, because it is stylish, durable and holds everything I need for a weekend away.

Story time. Back in 2013, Dan was working in Chicago and I was in Greenville, SC – so we were living that long distance relationship life. I can’t remember how I was introduced to L&S (maybe it was from an ad on social media?) but given how much I was traveling back and forth, I purchased my first Catalina duffel and never looked back. I love how sturdy they are – you can literally throw it in the wash when it needs a refresh and it comes out looking brand new. The Catalina Deluxe has upgrades like more pockets (inside and out), and a sleeve that can slip over the handle of a roller suitcase. The bottom pocket is probably my favorite feature – I tend to pack my shoes and belts there, but you could also use it to keep clean and dirty clothes separate at the end of a trip.

I even got my sister hooked… she travels a lot for her job (well, she did pre-COVID) and swears by both the Catalina the O.G. bag when she ventures out of town. The holidays are coming in hot… if you’re in need of a gift idea for someone who loves to travel – both near or far – I think L&S has a ton of great options to choose from. And… they’re currently holding a Warehouse Sale! So now is a great time to take advantage of some solid deals. Here are a few of my personal favorite styles:

Let me know if you find anything you like. Do you have a favorite brand of travel bag? Let me know in the comments and as always, many thanks for being here. xo

Cheers,

E

PS: I am not sponsored by or affiliated with Lo & Sons… I just love their products and I think you will too!
