Get Mistletoe-Ready with Aubio Lip Balm

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving – hopefully relaxing and spending quality time with family and friends. We’re back in Nashville and trying to rally and get ready for the Christmas chaos that’s upon us!

And speaking of…

I’m so excited that the temperatures have dropped in time for the holiday season to kick off. Growing up in South Carolina it was always a toss-up – it might be chilly, or you might be wearing short sleeves and sandals. Personally, I prefer a little nip in the air. It makes me feel a little more festive!

What I don’t love about the cooler temperature is the dry air that comes along with it. My skin definitely feels it, especially my lips. Susceptible to chapped lips, I have always been a bit of a lip balm hoarder during the winter months. That’s why I was so excited to give a new (to me) brand called Aubio Life Sciences a try!

So, fun fact, John Paul DeJoria (the mastermind behind Paul Mitchell hair care products) played a hand in bringing Aubio to life. The company is on a mission to create products that make an identifiable difference – including treatment for cold sores and dry, chapped lips.

Let me just tell you that this lip balm is heavenly. I’ve been applying it multiple times a day for the last week and I can tell a huge difference in the moisture and overall appearance of my lips. It has been a lifesaver these last few days in Nashville when the temperatures plummeted! I’ve noticed that if I apply Aubio as I’m putting on my makeup in the morning, my lipstick/gloss/stain goes on smoother and more evenly. This lip balm also has SPF 30 UVA/UVB, making it the perfect little bit of extra protection from the sun’s damaging rays all year round.

You can find Aubio Hydrating Lip Balm on Amazon (and it’s a Prime item!). I encourage you to give it a try, or you could even gift it to someone as a stocking stuffer.

How do you keep your skin (including your lips!) hydrated during the winter months? Do you also experience chapped lips? Let me know in the comments below!

Cheers,

E
