You may have already noticed, but one of the hottest trends this season are buttery soft chenille sweaters. I recently purchased this striped cutie from TULA Boutique and it is so cozy and warm. Given the recent plummet in temperatures across the country, you may just want to add a little chenille to your closet soon.
First things first, I was immediately drawn to the color and style of this sweater. I typically don’t purchase green items – in fact, I think I can count on one hand the number of green pieces I own. But I loved this color combo for fall! The stripes and cropped, scalloped cut sealed the deal.
I will tell you that this sweater is on the shorter side so it would be ideal to wear with high-waisted jeans (here are the flares I’m wearing – they’re amazing). Every time I’ve worn it, I get compliments galore. Sadly, there is limited stock online (though not surprising), which is why I decided to round up a few other favorites that you may like…
- BB Dakota Cardigan | I love this open cardigan. Comes in two dark colors and would look so cute over a chambray button-up or flannel.
- Wild Fable Chenille Pullover | So many chenille sweaters that I’ve seen are either crewnecks or turtlenecks, so I find this v-neck cut refreshing! You could also layer it over a button-up top or shirtdress. And that price can’t be beat.
- AE Oversized Chenille Turtleneck | I love this sweater! It’s slouchy and long – would be so cute with the Spanx faux leather leggings and over the knee boots. Comes in a ton of great colors too.
- Sanctuary Chenille Pullover | Your classic chenille pullover – also comes in quite a few colors. You could probably size up or down in this one depending on how you’d like it to fit, or if you’d like to layer it.
Be sure to check out TULA Boutique – they have so many cute and versatile sweater styles for fall and winter. I’d love to know your thoughts on the chenille trend. Do you have your eye on one? Do you have one hanging in your closet (or on your person right now)? Let me know in the comments below, and stay cozy my friends.
