I hope y’all had a great weekend. Ours was a fabulous mixture of relaxing, fun, and productive… which has left me feeling geared up to tackle this Monday. As a little change of pace, I thought it might be nice to share a few things I’m looking forward to this week.
First off, if you’re following along with me on Instagram stories, you may have noticed that I spent yesterday evening making a variety of soups. I do this every fall and usually wind up with enough soup to last us well into the winter. What I do is make a big batch of each soup, then store them in quart containers. I usually keep one or two in the fridge for meals that next week. Just make a salad or some grilled cheeses and you’re good to go! Such a game changer for these shorter days when you don’t always feel like cooking but want something warm and comforting. (PS: be on the lookout for a full blog post on my process and the recipes later this week!)
I have a very full (read: booked solid) week at work, but I tend to thrive in that scenario. Being busy helps the days fly by, and we’ve got some really fun events coming up at meet + greet. It’s always nice to have a job that you enjoy, and that keeps you on your toes!
Last week was our first taste of fall weather here in Nashville, and I am LOVING it. I personally love decorating for fall/Halloween, and I am excited to share some updates I’ve made around here… including tips to update your outdoor space for the new season. Stay tuned!
Starting Thursday night, we have two sweet friends coming into town and then we will all road trip to SC for the Clemson game this weekend! Y’all know I always get fired up to go back, but this weekend also happens to be Homecoming so I cannot wait to see our friends and cheer on the Tigers.
That’s about it for me! I am trying to be more mindful about starting each new week in a positive headspace, and I hope this has encouraged you to do the same! I’d love to know what y’all are looking forward to this week – drop me a line in the comments below and as always, thanks for following along.
