“Back to School” with XOmandysue

We’re well into August, if you can believe it. Last month was absolutely insane for us with all the traveling and quite a few life changes… and I would even go so far as to say that things got a little dicey there at the end (more on that to come later this week). Bottom line: I’m having a hard time believing that summer is quickly coming to a close – 2018 is flying by!

I always tend to stock up on new wardrobe pieces this time of year. Maybe it’s from all of the years of back-to-school shopping, or maybe I’m just trying to justify buying new things. Either way, I recently snagged a few goodies from an online boutique that I’ve shared with y’all before – XOmandysue.

XOmandysue is based out of Newport, California and offers new arrivals on a weekly basis. Their pieces are thoughtfully chosen to reflect the West Coast vibe – easy, breezy and casual.

I’ve been on the hunt for a cute and versatile dress that I can wear now during the dog days of summer, and also as we transition into fall. Enter The Danielle:

Here, I paired it with my favorite jean jacket and some shiny new kicks for a casual, throw-on-and-go outfit. But like I said, it’s versatile… I’ve also worn it to work with a long cardigan and flats. When the weather cools down, I’ll likely throw a slouchy sweater over top and pair with some over-the-knee boots.

I’m wearing a medium and I think the fit is perfect. Head’s up, there is a fun cut-out detail across the back which is perfect for summer, but also easy to conceal if you’re trying to be more conservative. I love the textured knit fabric – it’s SO soft and comfy.

I also grabbed this adorable top that I’ll be sure to share with y’all soon, along with any other items I have that are still in stock. Be sure to check them out and use code ERIN35 to get 35% off your purchase!

Cheers!

E
