Father’s Day is coming up this Sunday! If you’re anything like us, your life has been a little chaotic since summer kicked off, so I wanted to put together a quick round-up of some last-minute gift ideas and where you can find them.
Dan and I have some pretty amazing dads – and they’re both named Dave!
Not to toot my own horn, but I’ve gotten much better about buying and sending gifts well in advance because unfortunately, we often aren’t there to celebrate the day (Shoutout to my mom and sister for being the real MVPs and wrapping all the gifts I send!).
So let’s dive right in, shall we?
- I got this book for my Dad for Christmas and he literally finished it in 2 days! Jonathan Goldsmith is the OG Dos Equis man and this is his memoir (spoiler alert: he really IS the most interesting man in the world). If you happened to see my Instagram stories today, you know how big of a fan my dad is. In fact, he gave it such rave reviews that I’ve added it to my summer reading list! The best part is that it’s an Amazon Prime item so if you’re a member and order in the next day or so, you’ll definitely have it in time for Sunday.
- I recently discovered Man Crates and I absolutely love the concept of their gift boxes. There’s a crate for everyone – the beer lover, the grill master, the golfer, even the zombie apocalypse fan! I recommend selecting expedited shipping at checkout to make sure you have it in time.
- Amazon has a really great Father’s Day shop right now made up of solely Prime items (again, so you know it’ll be there when you need it!). My picks: this shirt, this duffel bag, and these slippers.
- If you’re following along with me on Instagram, you know I love this company. Wellington Toffee makes THE most delicious homemade toffee and uses proceeds from sales to pour resources into developing communities both domestic and abroad. If your dad has a sweet tooth and a big heart, this would be the perfect treat to give him for Father’s Day. Hurry though – today is the last day to place your order to guarantee delivery by Sunday!
I’d love to hear how you’re celebrating your dear old dad this weekend! What gift(s) did you get him? And let’s not forget to celebrate these wonderful men all year long – they give us so much guidance, strength and love. I’m incredibly thankful for both of our Daves!
